Short version: this is a listings site. We try hard to be accurate, we are not the people putting the events on, and you should check with the venue before you drive across town.
Burn Your TV collects event listings published by venues, promoters, ticketing platforms and local media, and shows them in one place. We are not the organiser, the promoter, or the ticket seller for anything listed here.
We take accuracy seriously enough to have built the site around it: nothing is invented, a listing with no description says so rather than being given one, and venue locations are checked against the City of New Orleans boundary file. But details change and sources are sometimes wrong. Times move, shows are cancelled, covers change at the door. Confirm with the venue before making plans that depend on it.
We do not sell tickets and we never take payment. Links marked with a venue or ticketing name take you to that company, and what happens there is between you and them.
Keep your email access secure. Tell us if something looks wrong with your account. Do not use the site to break the law or to scrape it wholesale - the listings belong to the people who published them.
If you run a venue or an event and something here is wrong, or you would rather not be listed, email shawn@distortion.ventures and we will fix or remove it.
The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it is complete, uninterrupted or free of mistakes, and we are not liable for anything that follows from relying on a listing. Louisiana law applies.
